  • For some reason, when I try to alt drag my text sequence over the highlighted layers in the copied sequence, I just get the icon of the 'fist/no entry' - as in PP won't let me drag and drop the text sequence. I've tried various combinations of function keys and none of them offer D&D. I don't have caps lock on or anything either. Any ideas? I'm running PPCC 12.1.2.

  • Hi Gordon,

    You should be able to drag your text sequence and replace the footage. I am not sure why Premiere is not allowing this. Can you provide a screen capture?
